Immediate resolution of this problem on an international level must be a top priority for both countries. At this point, the most constructive approach would be to open the borders immediately without any pre-conditions from either country and including neighbors in its regional economic programs in order to normalize the relations between two countries. It is time for many countries to face the less-debated parts of their proud history, whether it involves political mistakes, defeats or great glories. In today's information age, it is no more reasonable for any country to delay or put the political disputes on hold hoping they will relegate. Governments should be kept liable in such cases where they do nothing to resolve disputes and pass them to later generations. Each new generation of leadership must be committed to take the country a few steps further than the previous leaders were able to. Leaving today's problems for future generations to resolve is nothing but irresponsible. Openness to dialogue, same generation youth with common interests and a similar background..etc... The world economy is getting more competitive everyday with advances in technology and increased efficiency in transportation and manufacturing facilities. Bordering countries have no rights in freezing bilateral ties and..etc... .... a future leadership of a given country that will reconciliate with its neighbors and transform both countries into a gateway between Asia and Europe at the height of the new global order. I hope today's leaders will provide the future generations with an opportunity of seeking innovative ways to further expand the cultural and commercial relationships between two countries, not still holding debates on a century long historic event. Although, I feel confident we can take the initiative to resolve these conflicts, I hope to see today's leaders find the common grounds for us to raise the bars in the …. |
